Technical Manager (Pre-sales Specialist)

    Responsibilities:

    • Building relationships with Developers, Architects, and Consultants together with sales
    • Supports the commercial and project sales organisation by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions;
    • Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritising efforts on maximising the total impact of sales growth and profitability
    • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimise value for both the customer and the company.
    • Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support
    • Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
    • Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close”
    • Provides professional development and coaching to team member sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and sales skills
    • Develops water heating systems projects with the related technical reports, system layout & size, and any other documentation required by local legislation
    • Provides coaching/supervision and technical support & training for internal team

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Engineering, preferably with knowledge of water heating systems and energy efficiency
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the water heating sector or similar products with experience in electric storage water heaters, solar systems, heat pumps water heaters, and related technologies preferred in commercial business (B2B)
    • Prefer candidate who has strong network and already has a portfolio of customers in the real estate and construction business, or among developers and architects
    • Excellent verbal and written English and Vietnamese communication skills
    • Must be result-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment
    • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, and ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
    • Knowledge of technical software design (Ex. Autocad, Adobe Illustrator or Solar PV Calculator) is a plus
    • Already has a portfolio of customers in the real estate and construction business, or among developers and architects
