Talent Acquisition Partner (Malaysia)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for positions across the Malaysian market, including workforce planning discussions, sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
    • Partner closely with hiring managers, business leaders, local HR teams, and regional/China headquarters stakeholders to understand talent needs and ensure timely fulfillment of hiring requirements.
    • Drive talent acquisition efforts through various sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, job boards, referrals, market mapping, competitor research, and direct outreach to passive candidates.
    • Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines for key functions such as logistics, supply chain, operations, commercial, sales, and corporate support roles.
    • Deliver an excellent candidate experience by managing communications effectively and maintaining engagement throughout the hiring process.
    • Track recruitment activities and provide stakeholders with regular updates on hiring progress, talent market trends, competitor intelligence, and candidate availability.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, employer branding initiatives, and long-term talent pool development to support future business growth.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
    • 5 to 10 years of recruitment experience, including proven success hiring within the Malaysian talent market.
    • Demonstrated expertise in talent sourcing and recruitment execution, with strong capabilities in direct sourcing, Boolean search, talent mapping, and engaging passive candidates.
    • Previous experience recruiting for logistics, supply chain, operations, sales, commercial, e-commerce, or other fast-paced business functions is highly desirable.
    • Fluency in Chinese is required to effectively collaborate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and candidates. Strong professional communication skills in English are also essential.
    • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and a strong understanding of the local labor market would be advantageous.
    • Experience working with Chinese multinational organizations, cross-border businesses, technology companies, retail, logistics, or other high-growth environments is preferred.
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple hiring projects simultaneously.
    • Must possess valid authorization to work in Malaysia.
