Key Activities
- Design and deliver end to end solution architectures for banking transformation programs, leading the initial design phase through workshops conducted in English, Thai, or Vietnamese.
- Assess existing banking systems within client environments, identify gaps, and propose solutions aligned with global standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and SMEs to define solution blueprints, serving as the technical lead for locally gathered requirements.
- Coordinate technical delivery across local and offshore teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and future ready banking solutions.
- Maintain architectural consistency by translating local business requirements into clear English technical documentation for global development teams.
- Identify and manage project RAID, proactively mitigating risks throughout the implementation lifecycle within large enterprise environments.
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to best practices and architectural frameworks supporting banking transformation initiatives.
Required Skills
Language Proficiency (Mandatory)
- Fluent English (spoken and written) for technical documentation, architecture governance, and collaboration with global teams.
- Professional proficiency in Thai or Vietnamese to facilitate stakeholder discussions and solution workshops.
Technical & Domain Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in backend development and modern architectures, including microservices and event driven systems.
- Primary language: Java (OOP, Kafka, Spring Boot, etc.).
- Secondary languages such as Python or Go are advantageous.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, or 5+ years in banking technology, platform engineering, or banking implementation roles.
- Solid banking domain expertise with focus on Lending and Deposit products such as loan lifecycle, credit processing, CASA, and term deposits.
- Strong understanding of banking transaction processing, payment systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Core Banking platforms is beneficial; onboarding training and architectural enablement will be provided.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, software design patterns, and API driven systems.
- Hands on experience with integration frameworks and legacy modernization in banking environments.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and effective communication.
- Ability to translate domain knowledge into scalable architectural frameworks aligned with global implementation standards.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C suite executives, aligning technical strategy with business objectives.
- Open to working locations: Thailand or Vietnam.
