Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Define and enforce the overall solution architecture with Golang as the primary stack. Design secure, performant, and maintainable microservices that meet client needs.
- Leadership & Governance: Provide architectural guidance to technical leads and developers, and lead reviews to ensure consistency and quality across all teams.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the technical expert in client meetings, explaining architectural decisions and shaping future technology strategy.
- Delivery & Innovation: Partner with all teams (DevOps, QA, etc.) to ensure a smooth delivery process. You'll also be responsible for evaluating and recommending new Golang tools and frameworks to maintain engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on, expert-level Golang development.
- Proven experience leading the architecture of large-scale, enterprise platforms.
- Deep knowledge of Go routines, concurrency, and design patterns like Clean Architecture.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, event-driven design, and secure backend architecture.
- Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in fluent English for client-facing roles.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in the banking, financial, or large-scale enterprise domain.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of code analysis and observability tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira).
