Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee quality management activities across manufacturing operations in China, Vietnam, and other regional locations.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Assurance systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
- Promote a strong “Right First Time” quality culture by driving preventive quality practices, process improvements, and effective implementation methodologies throughout production.
- Ensure products comply with regional testing standards, regulatory requirements, and apparel industry compliance guidelines across different markets.
- Work closely with Product Development and Technical teams during the development stage to identify potential quality risks and provide practical improvement recommendations.
- Participate in pre-production meetings to review construction, workmanship, testing requirements, and production readiness from a quality perspective.
- Oversee sample evaluation, production approvals, and risk assessments to ensure product compliance before bulk production.
- Monitor factory QA/QC performance through production data analysis, inspection reports, and workshop management systems to drive continuous quality improvement.
- Identify quality related training needs and conduct coaching or training sessions for factory teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Investigate customer complaints, lead root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective and preventive action (CAPA) implementation and follow up.
- Conduct internal quality audits and provide actionable improvement plans to strengthen operational standards and manufacturing performance.
- Coordinate product testing processes with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate compliance validation.
- Prepare quality reports, performance analysis, and recommendations for management review.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Textile, Garment Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the apparel or cut and sew manufacturing industry. Supervisory or regional management experience is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of garment construction, apparel production processes, and industrial sewing operations.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, auditing practices, compliance standards, and statistical analysis tools.
- Hands on experience implementing “Right First Time” quality initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Familiar with regional apparel testing and compliance requirements across international markets.
- Certification in Quality Control or Quality Management is an advantage.
- Overseas working or regional exposure is preferred.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Detail oriented, result driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working with production data analysis and reporting systems.
- Reliable, adaptable, ethical, and able to thrive in changing business environments.
