Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the department’s annual operational and capital expenditure plans, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Participate in daily and strategic meetings related to production, and synthesize key takeaways for actionable follow-up.
- Work in partnership with sample/technical teams to identify root causes and resolve production inefficiencies.
- Delegate tasks and manage workloads to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Monitor and ensure the optimal condition and usage of machinery, including regular maintenance schedules.
- Validate and authorize production documents to uphold product quality and operational consistency.
- Enforce and sustain workplace organization standards (6S) to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Track and interpret production metrics, providing regular updates and performance analysis to leadership.
- Assess quality reports and initiate improvement projects where necessary to elevate product standards.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the garment or general manufacturing sectors.
- Strong foundation in operations management, with the ability to foresee risks and act independently.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing practices and quality control systems is essential.
- Familiar with technical production stages such as cutting, sewing, finishing, etc.
- Fluency in English is required for internal communication and reporting.
