Key Responsibilities
- Engage in negotiation and structuring of investment opportunities within Vietnam and South East Asia, specifically for energy projects.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of investment opportunities, including research and understanding of the sector, company, and transaction, and prepare investment notes for the Investment committee.
- Act as the project manager and main point of contact for existing and potential clients and investees.
- Oversee project work, including action plan preparation, development of investment presentations, conducting primary due diligence, financial valuation modeling, market analysis, and related research.
- Manage the execution process of deals and monitor post-investment activities.
- Develop and refine integrated financial models.
- Lead the development, negotiation, and finalization of transaction documents and advisory agreements, such as NDAs, term sheets, SPAs, SHAs, and advisory agreements.
- Take charge of partnership processes for transactions involving co-investors, including preparation of teasers, investment memoranda, and selection of advisors (investment banks, lawyers) if necessary.
- Prepare status update summaries of the investment pipeline for effective monitoring.
- Manage investment portfolios and identify value-creation opportunities.
- Supervise ongoing projects and pipeline, delegate responsibilities to junior staff/team members, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Corporate Finance, including financial statement analysis and various valuation methodologies.
- Proficient in financial modeling, with experience in building complex integrated financial models for investment evaluation purposes.
- Experience in end-to-end investment transaction execution.
- Familiarity with legal documentation, including NDAs, term sheets, and transaction documents.
- Preferably, experience with Vietnam transactions.
- Possess commercial acumen and demonstrate structured thought processes.
- Embrace a perpetual learning attitude.

- Ability to work well under pressure and remain focused on tasks at hand.
- Strong work ethic and dedication.
- Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written Vietnamese and English, enabling effective communication in investment notes and with foreign investors/partners.
