Senior Indirect Procurement Specialist

    Responsibilities

    • Indirect procurement: Be in charge of supplies, consumables, and administration.
    • Procurement Planning: Analyze demand, align with stakeholders, define requirements, evaluate feasibility, and develop optimal procurement plans.
    • Strategy Development: Build procurement strategies including supplier lists, bidding rules, negotiation tactics, and allocation principles to maximize project value.
    • Execution & Delivery: Manage POs, payments, price changes, and monitor order progress to ensure on-time delivery; identify and resolve risks proactively.
    • Supplier Management: Source and assess suppliers, manage onboarding, evaluate performance, and support improvements to enhance delivery and reduce failure rates.
    • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost benchmarking, analyze bidding outcomes, provide insights, and consolidate pricing data.
    • Contract Management: Ensure timely contract signing and compliance with procurement strategies; monitor pricing under contract terms.
    • Special Projects: Drive initiatives like standardization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements per departmental goals.

    Success Profile:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant procurement experience.
    • Knowledge of categories such as engineering, MRO, packaging, admin services, and office supplies is preferred.
    • Strong analytical, learning, and problem-solving abilities; able to work under pressure with a proactive mindset.
    • Excellent communication, coordination, and execution skills; results-driven.
    • High integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.
