Job Responsibility
- Designing modular and reusable hardware systems for automating power converter testing.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define test requirements using schematics and block diagrams.
- Design custom test PCBAs and integrate them into rack-based test systems alongside commercial equipment.
- Responsibilities include creating detailed documentation such as diagrams, BOMs, and SOPs for these systems.
- Programming Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems like Chroma.
- Works closely with vendors to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Participate in reviewing Supplier Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Maintaining test procedures and software documentation is essential.
- Developing automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency. Staying informed on the latest manufacturing test technologies is also key.
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
- Over 5 years of designing modular hardware and software for test automation in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in programming Chroma ATE systems and Python is required.
- Be able to read schematics, navigate PCB layouts, and understand product datasheets.
- Experience with industrial protocols and integrating test equipment like power supplies, DMMs, and signal analysers is essential.
- Supporting the deployment of automated test systems and hands-on hardware/software integration.
