Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Architecture Development
- Design and maintain a unified architecture framework that aligns with the bank’s strategic objectives.
- Define standards and design guidelines that support scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology decisions.
- Shape the technology direction for major areas like Cloud adoption, digital transformation, and customer-first platforms.
- Deliver reference architecture blueprints for enterprise-wide use and individual business unit strategies.
2. Architectural Governance & Oversight
- Continuously evolve and communicate the target architecture in line with the bank’s digital transformation agenda.
- Provide architectural support and oversight for agile product teams and other IT groups.
- Validate and approve proposed solution designs to ensure they meet architectural and strategic requirements.
- Support business teams from strategic planning through implementation and pilot testing.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to approved frameworks and design principles.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Transformation
- Actively contribute to major technology initiatives, working with IT and business teams to maintain platform alignment.
- Participate in portfolio management activities, including the refinement of architecture policies and governance processes.
- Lead digital innovation by introducing modern technologies, retiring legacy systems, and managing associated risks.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed by senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Banking.
- Strong understanding of the bank’s five-year technology strategy and digital roadmap.
- Ability to design enterprise architecture for key banking systems such as payments, risk, data warehousing, BPM, and lending.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Expertise in system design, solution assessment, and selecting suitable technologies.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in delivering full-scale banking solutions (e.g., core banking, cards, internet banking, data systems).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experienced in mentoring on architectural frameworks, roadmaps, documentation, and technical standards.
- Knowledge of software development processes, SOA, and industry-standard design patterns.
- Ability to architect scalable, secure, and high-availability solutions across diverse IT environments.
- Practical exposure to defining architectural governance and standards.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and virtualization tools.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
