Sales Manager

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Customer Relationship & Retention Management

    • Serve as the key contact person for major accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
    • Introduce new products and solutions to existing clients to maximize upselling and cross selling opportunities.
    • Handle customer concerns and complaints promptly by coordinating with QA and relevant departments to ensure effective resolution.
    • Build and maintain strong long term relationships with customers through proactive communication and support.

    Business Development

    • Explore and generate new business opportunities through networking, market analysis, cold outreach, and participation in industry events.
    • Prepare customized sales presentations and proposals that address clients’ business needs and objectives.
    • Establish strong connections with key decision makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
    • Arrange meetings and business discussions between potential customers and internal senior management teams.
    • Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure timely follow up on leads and business opportunities.

    Sales Planning & Performance Achievement

    • Create and execute sales strategies that support the company’s business goals.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales objectives.
    • Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to identify business growth opportunities and improve sales approaches.
    • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining healthy profit margins.

    Cross Functional Collaboration

    • Coordinate closely with production, engineering, QA, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
    • Support production planning by providing accurate market insights and customer forecasts.
    • Recommend process improvement ideas related to manufacturing and operational efficiency where appropriate.

    Sales Reporting & Forecast Management

    • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management review.
    • Maintain accurate records within CRM systems and other sales management tools.
    • Track KPIs, sales performance, and conversion metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Submit weekly sales activity and progress reports with accurate data.

    Leadership & Team Support

    • Guide and support team members involved in sales and business development activities.
    • Represent the company professionally during exhibitions, industry events, and customer meetings.
    • Support the development of a customer focused and results driven sales culture across the organization.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Engineering, or related fields. Overseas graduates are preferred.
    • Candidates with strong communication skills in both Japanese and English, as well as overseas education background, will have an advantage.
    • Minimum 5 years of management experience is preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing and proactive personality.
    • Good understanding of sales, marketing, and negotiation techniques.
    • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel for customer visits.
