Sales Manager (Machinery)

    Industry: Mechanical Engineering/Machinery

    Location: North of Vietnam

    MAIN DUTIES

    • Look for new clients while retaining existing customers and develop new business growth in accordance with the PVD coating product line strategies
    • Provide technical support before and after the sales process to local/international/Japanese customers, assist in feasibility assessment and come up with appropriate solutions to meet their demands.
    • Gather customer, market, and competitor insight and report to CRM software for marketing, sales development, and budgeting actions.
    • Report on sales visits and project status via CRM
    • Prepare quotations and follow up on customer sales enquiries/tests 
    • Plan, prepare, and participate in all contract negotiations with customers in accordance with the sales strategy
    • Collaborate with other departments to negotiate technical, quality, and logistical contracts.
    • Register and follow up on customer complaints, and work with other departments to identify preventive and corrective actions.
    • Promote and protect the company's brand and interests
    • Participate in all customer promotional events; attend customer meetings, seminars, and exhibitions.

    COMPETENCES

    • Identify, evaluate, and contact new prospects who are suitable for the company’s strategy.
    • Provide quotations and close sales deals in accordance with sales strategy and standards.
    • Excellent communication skills, can represent the company's product, service, and capabilities well to customers
    • Communicate and agree with customers on corrective and improvement actions as previously defined with other departments 

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Vietnamese or fluent (speaking, reading, writing) in Vietnamese (man/woman, 25 years old and up).
    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering 
    • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales of metalworking products or applications to Japanese Tier 1& OEM customers. 
    • 1-2 years of experience in Japanese key accounts management, negotiating corporate contracts with Japanese headquarters and technical/ R&D centers.
    • Metallurgical knowledge of all steel and surface properties used in the metalworking industries, including JIS/ DIN/ ISO standards, steel grade, design and drawing specifications used in automotive industry
    • Computer literacy and proficiency with all modern communication tools
    • Fluent in English, capable of communicating with Japanese clients and maintaining professional relationships.
    • Service and customer oriented, self-motivated and disciplined, confident and team-oriented, communicative and open-minded, good with human relationships and communication
