Sales Manager (LCL - Sea Freight)

    Main tasks:

    • Optimizing our LCL approach, defining proper break points and converting targets per trade lane, from provider/co-load scenarios to direct consolidation containers.
    • Working with the management to establish and develop the LCL product into a profitable revenue stream.
    • Focus on maximizing revenue and GP through identifying customers within the assigned territory; meeting and closing deals with the customers.
    • Developing prospective clients, making cold calls and servicing existing clients.
    • Identify and Develop LCL Consolidation program for key trade-lanes with key stake holders.
    • Monitor and Develop Customer Pipeline along with Account Management team.
    • Handling LCL RFQs
    • As this is a sales role, you will be given targets to achieve within the sphere of LCL, and the majority of your responsibility will be onboarding new clients.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree is a must.
    • 5-10 years of experience in LCL sales is necessary
    • Minimum of 5 years of related industry experience in Sea Freight and 5 years minimum of LCL product experience.
    • Solid experiences in Sea Freight sales and operations.
    • Self-starter with commercial acumen
    • Advanced interpersonal communication skills and negotiation skills
    • Demonstrated experience in solution design and P&L ownership
    • Demonstrated product portfolio expertise
