Responsibilities
- Utilize market data and develop sales strategies to increase customer database
- Maintain a through knowledge of products and services offered by the company - develop and maintain strong business relationships
- Develop a market strategy and innovations to increase the marketability and profitability of company services
- Develop sales plans to take advantage of market opportunities
- Mentor subordinates to effectively sell freight forwarding services through formal training and joint sales calls and meetings
- Develop strong network of contacts within the clients and factories
- Lead sales team to sell freight forwarding services
- Manage current and targeted key account relationships to grow revenue streams
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly management reports
- Maintain and prioritize sales targets and propose winning partnerships with assigned targeted accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business/marketing, logistics, and/or supply chain management, or an equivalent degree.
- Min 6 years of freight forwarding sales experience required (not international tradelane) and at least 2 years in managing level position
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Great Networking skills
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Dedication to providing great customer service.
- Proficiency in English.
