Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding Services)

    Responsibilities

    • Utilize market data and develop sales strategies to increase customer database
    • Maintain a through knowledge of products and services offered by the company - develop and maintain strong business relationships
    • Develop a market strategy and innovations to increase the marketability and profitability of company services
    • Develop sales plans to take advantage of market opportunities
    • Mentor subordinates to effectively sell freight forwarding services through formal training and joint sales calls and meetings
    • Develop strong network of contacts within the clients and factories
    • Lead sales team to sell freight forwarding services
    • Manage current and targeted key account relationships to grow revenue streams
    • Prepare annual budgets and monthly management reports
    • Maintain and prioritize sales targets and propose winning partnerships with assigned targeted accounts

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business/marketing, logistics, and/or supply chain management, or an equivalent degree.
    • Min 6 years of freight forwarding sales experience required (not international tradelane) and at least 2 years in managing level position
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
    • Great Networking skills
    • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
    • Experience managing and directing a sales team.
    • Dedication to providing great customer service.
    • Proficiency in English.
