Sales Director

    1. Job Summary

    Our business is a B2B – e-commerce distribution business. We aim to provide goods and service to small merchants and business owners (Tap Hoa, restaurant, café, small shops) by our ordering APP. The products we supply are FMCG, food, personal care, baby products (locally sourced) and imported from overseas.

    Our products are sold by 1) APP 2) POS system and 3) E-commerce website. Our e-commerce platform act as ordering tools, dealer management system that provide real time pricing, stock visibility and stock management to brands and merchants. 
    Our company belongs to a leading technology Unicorn in Vietnam.

    2. Job accountabilities: 

    • Primary responsibility: 
      • Build up sales team / sales agent network nationwide. Utilize our own team as well as work with 3rd party agent to build up sales network. 
      • Grow sales and gross merchandise value (GMV) by encouraging merchants to order products via our APP / platform
      • Grow number of merchants- we aim to have more than 100,000 merchants.
    • Coordination with commercial team: Work with merchandising team and marketing team to grow business by inviting merchants to join our B2B ecommerce platform. 
    • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
    • Maintain sales volume by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
    • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.
    • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically.
    • Interface with technical support internally to ensure resolve issues that directly impact partners.
    • Manage and implement the sales forecasting, planning and buyer driven sales processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the sales organization.
    • Drive the successful implementation and adoption of the sales automation platforms.
    • Ensure reports and other internal intelligence and insight is provided to the sales and marketing organization
    • Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, 
    • Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation, Win/Loss, Age
    • Through reporting and analytics, validate the quality of the lead and pipeline data and provide guidance to improve the overall data quality
    • Define contact and account quality standards in the database, defining processes and data acquisition strategies

    3. Job requirements:

    • More than 10 years of experience working in a senior sales position, preferably as a Head of Sales within proven in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment.
    • Experience in FMCG, Distribution (with strong focus in general trade / traditional trade) is preferred with successful leading a sales team for achievement of sales objectives and targets.
    • Prefer to have experience in distribution business
    • Must have proven record of working for General Trade / Traditional Trade sector 
    • Has track record of covering more than 50,000 to 100,000 merchants nationwide.
    • Has managed more than 1,000 sales agents nationwide. 
    • Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a sales perspective
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
    • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
    • Great in performing under pressure with great adaptability to new technology
    • Must be an excellent team player 
    • Aptitude in communication, Analytical, decision-making.
    • Good English communication
    • Has experience in working with foreign CEO.
