Risk Management Staff

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Policy Making
    a) Policies and procedures establishment/revision:

    • To knowledge on banking & finance, risk management related practices, procedures and legal background;
    • To clarify relevant issues and ensure the new establishment/renewal of policy and procedure met all internal & external regulations and to be in line with local practice;
    • To draft the policy and procedure and initiate PnP review and approval process.
    • To be the main contact for PnP related issues as a policy owner between interbranch departments and Head Office;

    b) Policies and procedures review:

    • To be in charge of PnP review on relevant risk topics if any circulation of PnP from other department is required;

    c) Policies and procedures implementation:

    • To support on the policy implementation: in response to any query on the interpretation and scopes of coverage of the PnP;
    • To support on setting up relevant monitoring procedure, frequent data analysis, counter-measure (if any) to support other departments on PnP implementation;

    d) Policies and procedures translation:

    • To share the workload of PnP translation among team as assigned by Risk Head.

    2. Risk Planning:

    • To be the coordinator for Risk Planning issues at the Branch, including: (i) risk limit setting/proposal and implementation; (ii) risk reporting (internal & external); (iii) risk related project (if any), (iv) general risk related issue required by the Branch Management and Head Office;
    • To be in charge of annual ICAAP stress testing, relevant steps of ICAAP that shall be handled by RMD.

    3. Other ad-hoc assignments from Risk Head

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor Degree (prefer in Banking or Audit & Accounting) or equivalent with at least 5~10 years working experience in Banking, Risk Management section is a must.
    • Knowledge and understanding of banking products, Basel standardized approach.
    • Deeply understanding the laws and statutory regulations in banking and finance.
    • Good command of various MS computer programs and applications (excel, SQL, VBA).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
