Job Responsibilities
Sales & Key Account Management
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales strategies and key account plans in line with regional business objectives
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and market expansion across assigned territories, channels, and teams
- Monitor sales performance, tender activities, forecasting accuracy, and effective resource allocation to maximize business results
- Identify and prioritize high-value customers and business opportunities based on sales potential, profitability, market share, and growth opportunities
- Lead the implementation of customer engagement initiatives, sales excellence programs, and multi-channel commercial approaches
- Continuously assess market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify new growth opportunities and business risks
- Ensure all business activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, ethical standards, and local requirements
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop sales teams to achieve strong performance, customer engagement, and business objectives
- Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews with constructive feedback and development planning
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high performance team culture
- Identify capability gaps and support training and talent development initiatives
Customer & Market Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including hospitals, healthcare professionals, distributors, and government related institutions
- Ensure effective execution of sales and marketing initiatives aligned with brand and portfolio strategies
- Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with ethical promotion practices and company standards
- Collect market intelligence and customer insights to support strategic decision making and commercial adjustments
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, and other cross functional teams to align commercial objectives and business strategies
- Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to support demand planning and product availability
- Support business reporting, sales analysis, and performance tracking activities
- Participate in cross functional projects to improve operational efficiency and business effectiveness
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Business Administration, or related disciplines. MBA or other advanced qualifications are preferred
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical Sales or Key Account Management, including at least 3 years in a regional or district sales leadership role
- Strong background and proven success within the ETC channel, with solid understanding of hospital systems and specialist prescribing environments
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities with experience building and developing high performing teams
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel frequently based on business requirements
