Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand business presence in the China market
- Define annual sales targets, marketing strategies, and budgets, ensuring consistent monthly performance against goals
- Plan, execute, and assess marketing initiatives across assigned markets
- Track sales and distribution performance, and recommend actionable improvements to optimize results
- Design market penetration strategies supported by research and insights
- Prepare and assess project proposals, including pricing structures, commercial terms, and partnership agreements
Requirements:
- Strong B2C experience within the FMCG sector, ideally in snacks and beverages, though other categories such as personal care are also considered
- Candidates must not come directly from competitor companies due to legal restrictions around talent movement in FMCG
- Native Chinese candidates with professional fluency in Mandarin are required (HSK certification preferred but not mandatory for strong profiles)
- Solid understanding of the China market; experience with Chinese companies or working alongside Chinese expatriates is advantageous
- Familiarity with import and export processes
- In addition to business development, candidates should possess a good grasp of marketing principles and execution
