Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the local R&D team
- Coordinate and report to the headquarters team in Italy
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive new product development projects
- Develop, monitor, and manage project timelines and deliverables
- Conduct feasibility studies for new product designs and product performance enhancements
- Enhance product value propositions through the integration of new technologies and innovative features
- Oversee product modifications, upgrades, and line extensions
- Manage bill of materials and support cost optimization initiatives
Requirements
Technical requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within consumer goods manufacturing companies
- Proficient in 2D and 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Catia, or equivalent tools
- Strong project management experience covering product design, prototyping, testing, component introduction, pilot production, and pre mass production validation

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Cost-conscious mindset with a focus on optimization, efficiency, and standardization
