1. Responsibilities:
Drive Quality Strategy:
- Enhance delivery testing and optimize resource costs by accelerating quality, simplifying scaling.
- Ensure all team members adhere to established quality standards.
- Monitor test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure alignment with business requirements (including test management, analytics, and governance).
Foster a Quality-First Culture:
- Advocate for a culture where quality is a collective responsibility, not solely QA’s.
- Lead by example, demonstrating the importance of attention to detail for user satisfaction.
- Promote open feedback and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Champion Automation:
- Drive the adoption of advanced test automation tools.
- Integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline for quicker and more reliable releases.
- Stay ahead of trends and introduce innovative solutions to improve efficiency.
Turn Metrics into Insights:
- Track quality metrics, such as defect rates and test coverage, to measure team success.
- Leverage data to identify improvement areas and manage risks proactively.
- Keep DoE/PPM and Banks informed and confident by sharing progress, insights, and updates.
Be a Mentor and Leader:
- Inspire and support your QA team, fostering professional growth and excellence.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative team environment focused on shared quality priorities.
- Provide regular performance feedback to help team members succeed.
Build Bridges Across Teams:
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, product owners, and other QA teams to align on quality objectives.
- Guide and drive the engineering team to improve overall product quality.
2. Requirements:
Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role in a dynamic digital banking or fintech setting.
- Expertise in manual and automated testing methods, tools, and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Shift-left testing and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
Technical Knowledge:
- Proficient in testing APIs, web services, and mobile apps.
- Expertise in test design and test management.
- Familiar with testing Microservices, Event-Driven, and Serverless architectures.
- Solid understanding of security and performance testing best practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, XRAY, Postman, or similar.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
