Main Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Management
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term partnerships with strategic key accounts, ensuring deep customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary liaison between VDL ETG Vietnam and customers on all business matters, including finance, operations, quality, supply chain, and technology.
2. Cross-functional Leadership
- Lead a Customer Focus Team (CFT) consisting of representatives from Account Management, NPI Project Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Drive cross-departmental coordination to ensure smooth program execution and alignment with customer expectations.
3. Program Management & Execution
- Oversee all operational aspects of assigned customer programs, including new product introductions, cost optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with both customers and internal stakeholders to define, implement, and achieve Quality, Lead-time, Technology, and Cost (QLTC) improvement goals.
- Manage project performance metrics such as turnover, margin evolution, inventory levels, change management (ECO), and MOQ/EOQ control.
4. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Lead initiatives that drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and technology adoption.
- Proactively identify opportunities for value engineering, cost reduction, and design enhancement.
- Support and influence internal teams to challenge existing processes and adopt innovative, performance-driven solutions.
5. Representation & Substitution
- Act as a substitute for the Account Manager during periods of absence, ensuring seamless client communication and business continuity.
Qualifications & Background Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong affinity with manufacturing technologies such as machining, sheet metal, welding, assembly, surface treatment, and testing.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in program/project management or commercial roles within the Mechatronics, Semiconductor, Solar, Analytical, or Healthcare industries.
- Proven ability to drive technology improvement, efficiency enhancement, quality optimization, and structural cost reduction.
- PMP certification and familiarity with Baan ERP or equivalent systems are preferred.
