Responsibilities and Duties:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. This role also focuses on leading and developing the production team, ensuring workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement across operations.
- Plan, organize, and control daily production activities to meet business targets.
- Oversee all stages of production, including raw material preparation, forming, firing, glazing, finishing, and packaging.
- Ensure production output, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently achieved.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
- Monitor and control production costs, including materials, labor, and energy consumption.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Control, Logistics, and Planning teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Prepare regular production reports and propose actionable improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of production management experience
- Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality systems
- Proven ability to manage factory operations and lead large teams
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proficient in ERP/MES and Microsoft Office tools
- Good English communication skills
