Role Overview
A global engineering and technology organization, part of a major international industrial group, employs more than 6,000 professionals across 18 countries. The Digital & Analytics division currently includes over 200 specialists worldwide.
In this role, you will focus primarily on 3D engineering simulation development, combining advanced 3D visualization technologies with engineering system data.
You will also have opportunities to contribute to other technology initiatives such as enterprise software solutions, DevOps practices, and additional digital product development projects.
Projects within the team are highly varied, allowing engineers to rotate across different initiatives and collaborate with diverse technical teams, providing exposure to multiple technologies and problem domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including Product, UI UX, Data Science, and Data Engineering to gather and interpret product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support the design and development of scalable, secure, and high performance system architectures across multiple software projects.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and high quality code following industry best practices.
- Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of applications.
- Assist in identifying and resolving production issues and improving system reliability.
- Evaluate potential risks or dependencies in project requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of software architecture and communicate technical tradeoffs to support informed decision making.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Experience completing a minimum of two full software development life cycles
- Solid background in 3D application development, with understanding of full stack development and cloud based technologies
- Strong programming skills in C# and JavaScript or TypeScript, with experience working with ReactJS
- Hands on experience with 3D frameworks or libraries such as Unity3D, three.js, OpenGL, WebGL, or WebGPU
- Understanding of 3D mathematics and computer graphics programming concepts
- Familiarity with backend development using frameworks such as Django, working with databases, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is an advantage
- Comfortable working in Agile development environments
- Strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving ability
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Demonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to take ownership in project development
- Open to exploring innovative ideas and challenging existing approaches when appropriate
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to VR or AR technologies, Digital Twin solutions, or Generative AI applications
- Knowledge of platforms such as Autodesk Platform Services, AVEVA Everything3D, or other 3D CAD ecosystems
- Familiarity with industries such as Oil & Gas or Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC)
