Market Entry Project Manager

Job Purpose

The Market Entry Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all activities related to launching new markets. This includes market entry planning, legal and compliance procedures, infrastructure set-up, and vehicle deployment. The role requires strong project management skills, the ability to navigate cross-functional teams, and a strategic mindset to ensure timely and successful market launches.

Key Responsibilities
1. Market Entry Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive launch timelines, action plans, and periodic budgets for new markets.

• Consolidate and review market implementation models; propose adjustments aligned with business goals.

• Track project milestones, monitor risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

2. Legal & Investment Procedures

• Prepare and manage checklists for legal entity establishment and outbound investment.

• Ensure compliance with local laws, labor regulations, and business model requirements.

• Collaborate with the Legal team to manage licensing procedures and monitor progress.

3. Infrastructure & Site Set-up

• Identify and assess potential locations; conduct feasibility studies and negotiate leases.

• Oversee construction and installation of operational infrastructure (depots, bus stations, etc.).

• Work with external partners and vendors to ensure site readiness before launch.

4. Vehicle Deployment & Operations

• Research and propose market-specific branding and vehicle accessories in compliance with legal requirements.

• Support visa processing, driver recruitment, and vehicle registration.

• Lead evaluation and recommendation of operational equipment and technology solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Law, Logistics, or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project implementation, preferably in market expansion or international operations.

• Proven ability in planning, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.

• Proficient in English; strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and ability to perform under pressure.
