Location: Penang, Malaysia
This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager and Director of Ops. You will be expected to be on-site at the production facility on a weekly basis to perform inspections and to meet with the supply chain team managing production and supply schedules.

- Salary range: 7,500 - 10,000 MYR

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage supply chain and manufacturing quality deliverables for mass production.
- Implement production forecast changes and manage the build schedule to mitigate risks and ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage Manufacturing Clear to Build, to mitigate component risks and ensure on-time production.
- Perform Quality Audits to ensure manufacturing partners are adhering to customer’s quality control plans.
- Perform shipment audits on all production builds prior to finished good pickups.
- Support communications between customer and manufacturing partners to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure manufacturers are submitting logistics pickup requests on-time.
- Communicate shipment tracking information to Ops team for delivery & receipt.
- Manage supplier performance to defined SLAs and internal KPIs.
- Track and manage all quality findings from discovery to resolution.
- Manage component supply to minimize excess and obsolescence risks.
- Travel to and audit sub-tier manufacturing partners within the APAC region.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years combined experience in both Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Quality preferably in consumer electronics (PCBA & Plastics Manufacturing).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite.
- Experience with PLM (Arena Preferred).
- Passionate problem solver with proven interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to perform independently with minimal direction or oversight.
- Strong operational mind-set with proven project management experience.
- Strong Analytical and organizational skills with a proven track record of problem solving and critical thinking.
- Expert communicator, with a proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment internally and with external third parties.
- “Owner’s” attitude, including a willingness to tackle & resolve problems to completion and an ability to work both independently and cross functionally.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and collaboration skills at all levels of the
- organization, including the ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
- Willing to meet in factory on a weekly basis, with travel to off-site locations approximately 20% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
- Language(s) – Fluent Speaking, Writing, Comprehension (English, Malay & Mandarin)
- Travel: Up to 20%
- You must be able to travel within the APAC & North America
