IT Collaboration Manager

    Job purpose:

    The IT Collaboration Manager will be responsible for managing key collaboration tools like Office365, G-suite, email services, Jabber (instant messaging), and essential services like Network Time Protocol (NTP) ), DNS, Identity System (Microsoft AD, Azure AD, open LDAP) which have a huge contribution to all IT systems including core banking, internet banking, ESB etc.

    The IT Collaboration Manager will also play a key role in taking care of security-related services and other services including web proxies, endpoint management (SEP), configuration management systems, and more. model, cloud service (Azure), Root Certificate Authority affecting most IT systems. Therefore, the role of a IT Collaboration Manager  is essential for any organization.

    Job scope:

    1. Availability management

    • Ensure infrastructure services meet committed availability requirements
    • Provide requirements to ensure new or modified/updated services meet committed availability requirements
    • Be proactive to maintain and improve the availability and stability of infrastructure services
    • Develop and maintain a continuity plan for infrastructure services
    • Ensure infrastructure related issues are resolved.
    • Assess the impact on the availability of new change requests
    • Join the Change Advisory Board (CAB) if necessary
    • Responsible for monitoring infrastructure service availability, comparing reality with goals, and addressing gaps
    • Coordinate with other units, especially security management and infrastructure and security monitoring center
    • Operate and deploy solutions related to infrastructure technology
    • Perform periodic inspections of the bank's infrastructure, plan and implement remedial plans when needed
    • Manage providers and monitor service quality of server partners/providers and take responsibility for the services provided
    • Maintain, upgrade and fine-tune equipment according to the requirements of each period
    • Manage and deploy security solutions related to infrastructure
    • Build a daily operating task list (checklist) and daily report the results and quality of each job

    2. Asset Management

    • Ensure assets are consistent with naming conventions.
    • Ensure compliance with identity standards for object types, environments, lifecycles, instances
    • The information of the system is adjusted appropriately according to the changing requirements of each period
    • Maintain a list of assets including equipment type, IP address, date of commissioning, warranty expiration date, and maintenance warranty renewal date
    • Maintain a list of copyrights, contracts with service providers
    • Manage and maintain records of systems, devices, application systems installed on the server, deployment model, operating model and operating procedures

    3. Performance Management

    • Make sure there are enough system resources available for services
    • Ensure IT managers are aware of resource usage needs and growth trends
    • Provide resource requests for updated or newly added IT services
    • Maintain general reporting on IT infrastructure's performance usage and its trends
    • Ensure performance testing is carried out for newly launched services
    • Actively improve the efficiency in the use of IT resources
    • Provide and maintain resource usage plan
    • Ensure problems, performance related issues are resolved
    • Evaluate the performance impact of change requests
    • Join the Change Advisory Board (CAB) if necessary
    • Responsible for monitoring resource usage, comparing actual and planned needs, and resolving resource related issues

    4. Change Management 

    • Provide timely assessment of an implemented change affecting infrastructure and services
    • Communicate any problems caused by changes to requesters and implementers
    • Update the operating manual if necessary
    • Closely monitor the progress of implementing changes
    • Update status changes
    • Responsible for standardizing server infrastructure design

    5. Configuration Management

    • Responsible for equipment standards from time to time.
    • Responsible for standardizing and maintaining operating system standards, software catalogs and related versions from time to time
    • Responsible for managing, maintaining and updating the configuration management system (CMS)
    • Responsible for backing up server device configuration

    6. Event Management

    • Responsible for managing and monitoring infrastructure systems as well as all IT service application systems
    • Ensure all infrastructure systems and services of the IT Division are monitored
    • Responsible for lifecycle management of all IT incidents
    • Ensure timely handling of events to maintain committed SLAs

    7. Service quality management

    • Operate and maintain IT services
    • Coordinate with other units to investigate, evaluate, handle incidents as well as identify positive/negative trends and identified and resolved incidents. Take corrective actions
    • Ensure that in-depth analyzes are performed to identify root causes of negative trends
    • Analyze and report on trends in performance and impact caused by IT issues
    • Ensure IT services are operated within committed SLAs
    • Analyze the collected data

    8. Resource Management

    • Proactively allocate resources to support daily operations as well as projects
    • Provide personnel and plan to operate the security and infrastructure monitoring center
    • Manage, maintain and monitor the operation portfolio within the operation center (IT Operation Portfolio)

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    1. Educational Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, related field or related work experience.
    • MCSA certification preferable
    • ACSP or ACTC certification preferable.
    •  Expert knowledge of Windows Server and Mac OS X Server products.
    • Expert knowledge of Exchange and SMTP.
    • Expert knowledge of directory services, Active Directory and Open Directory.

    2. Knowledge/Expertise required

    • Expert knowledge of Windows Server, AIX, Linux, vmware and platform services running on that.
    • Knowledge of relevant like network, security, database...
    • Expert knowledge server product.
    • Knowledge of DC – DR infrastructure.

    3. Skills required

    • Demonstrated ability leading a highly technical work team.
    • Excellent communication skills, written communication in the form of business and technical report writing.
    • Good english

    4. Relevant Experiences

    • Extensive experience in all aspects of the administration of operation platform, leading vendor solutions including infrastructure management
    • Extensive experience to troubleshooting and fix issues/errors on operation platform during operation
    • Extensive experience operation platform portfolio
    • Extensive experience gained on relevant systems, or equivalent experience.
