Key Responsibilities

Technology Architecture & Strategy

• Shape the company-wide IT architecture, application portfolio, and technology roadmap.
• Monitor technology trends and recommend innovative solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Advise business and IT teams on emerging technologies and modernization.

Architectural Governance & Technical Leadership

• Ensure architecture designs, standards, and patterns align with the overall technology vision and roadmap.
• Drive consistent architecture practices and best practices across programs.

People Leadership & Capability Development

• Mentor and coach application and technical architects across various technology programs.
• Develop the internal architecture team and build future technical capabilities.

Governance, Compliance & Collaboration

• Support architecture governance, audit, and compliance processes.
• Collaborate with global Enterprise Architects and use EA tools to assess technology changes and business impact.

Technology Thought Leadership & Cloud

• Provide expertise across Cloud, AWS, APIs, Microservices, DevOps, IAM, Mobile/Web, Workflow, and Document Management.
• Define and maintain architecture standards, guardrails, and design patterns for AWS Cloud applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in Financial Services/Insurance preferred.
• Strong expertise across Cloud/AWS, APIs, Microservices, Integration, DevOps, IAM, Mobile/Web, and Workflow.
• Proven experience in enterprise architecture, technology modernization, application portfolio management, and technical debt.
• Experience leading or mentoring architects, technical leads, and engineering teams.
• Experience in regulated/compliance-heavy environments and vendor management is an advantage.
• Asia regional experience is a plus.

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or Gartner EA.
• Strong track record across enterprise technologies including Microservices, COTS, Legacy Modernization, ECM, BPM, Cloud, API, and DevOps.
• Excellent communication, presentation, documentation, and technical thought-leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of Financial Services & Insurance technology, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Strong experience designing complex enterprise solutions and platforms.
• Knowledge of FS-specific architecture patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures.
