Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security scanning, assessments, and implement system-level security controls and remediation across the network
• Investigate and respond to information security incidents, vulnerabilities, and cyber threats
• Perform security assessments, identify risks, issue alerts, and propose mitigation strategies
• Test and evaluate security solutions to enhance protection for IT and telecommunications systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance and best practices

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related domains
• Experience in roles such as Cybersecurity Specialist, Security Engineer, Security Assessment/Testing Specialist, or similar
• Exposure to large-scale systems or multinational environments is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience in security projects, vulnerability management, and system protection

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields
• Strong academic background from top global universities is preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, C, C#, Bash
• Hands-on experience with security tools: vulnerability scanners, firewalls, anti-malware systems, and network monitoring platforms
• Strong expertise in Penetration Testing and security assessment
• Solid experience in Incident Response, including handling cyberattacks and data breaches

• Strong communication skills to translate security requirements across teams
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strategic mindset with proactive risk anticipation
• Continuous learning attitude with up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends
• English proficiency: IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent
