Head of Project Legal

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Management & Work Coordination

    • Assign, guide, and oversee the work of 2–3 Project Legal Specialists.
    • Monitor work progress and evaluate team members’ performance and effectiveness.
    • Provide professional training, coaching, and mentoring to new or less experienced team members.

    Project Legal Execution

    • Directly manage and take primary responsibility for project legal procedures, from investment policy approval, site approval, and basic design appraisal through to completion of the project’s legal documentation.
    • Review, verify, and initial legal documents prepared by specialists before submitting them to senior management for approval.

    Planning & External Relations

    • Develop and manage project legal implementation plans by project phase.
    • Represent the department in working with government authorities, consultants, partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Act on behalf of the Head of Project Legal Affairs in handling assigned matters when authorized.

    Legal Advisory & Issue Resolution

    • Monitor, analyze, and advise the Head of Project Legal Affairs on changes in laws and regulations related to the real estate sector.
    • Propose solutions and action plans to mitigate legal risks and resolve legal issues arising during project implementation.
    • Ensure proper management, filing, and retention of project legal documents and records in accordance with regulations.
    • Coordinate with relevant departments on compensation, site clearance, and other project-related legal matters.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Project Legal Affairs.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
    • Strong knowledge of Land Law, Civil Law, Economic Law, and other regulations related to investment and real estate business.
    • Strong understanding of legal procedures and processes for real estate project investment and development.
    • Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
    •  
    • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in real estate project legal affairs.
    • Previous team management experience is an advantage.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a results-oriented approach.

    • Strategic and creative mindset, with strong awareness of industry trends and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
    • Willingness to travel for business when required.
