KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development and Strategic Advisory
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, and investors.
- Originate and develop new mandates across all investment banking product lines.
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients on capital raising, restructuring, and corporate growth initiatives.
Transaction Leadership and Execution
- Lead advisory mandates across IPOs, private placements, secondary offerings, and other equity financing transactions.
- Provide structured advisory for bond issuance, convertible instruments, and other debt financing solutions.
- Manage end to end M&A engagements, including acquisitions, divestments, and strategic partnerships.
- Structure and implement financial restructuring strategies to optimize capital structure and enterprise value.
- Advise on corporate transformation initiatives such as changes in legal structure and operating models.
- Guide clients on governance best practices, transparency standards, and board level advisory matters.
Leadership and Organizational Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high performing Investment Banking team with strong technical and execution capabilities.
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the IB division in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Promote a performance driven, ethical, and client focused culture.
Governance and Risk Management
- Ensure all advisory and transactional activities comply with regulations of the State Securities Commission and internal policies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate transaction and advisory risks.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Successful execution of ECM, DCM, and M&A mandates approved by the Management Board.
- Achievement of annual revenue and profitability targets.
- Strengthened market reputation and competitive positioning within the investment banking sector.
- Development of long term strategic partnerships.
- Establishment of a technically strong and execution capable IB team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Valid securities practicing certificate.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA or CPA preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory.
- Proven senior leadership experience with direct involvement in large scale ECM, DCM, or M&A transactions.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, securities regulations, transaction structuring, and corporate advisory frameworks.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and legal requirements governing financial transactions.
