Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with the internal design team to conceptualize and develop new furniture products.
- Liaise with R&D to ensure technical specifications meet design requirements.
- Interpret design ideas and provide clear guidance to the R&D team to develop accurate technical documentation.
- Coordinate revisions and updates during different phases of product development.
- Track and follow up on sample progress with vendors and the R&D team.
- Review and verify sample documentation such as technical drawings and specifications.
- Assess packaging plans and technical files during sampling and pre-production.
- Conduct product tests to ensure samples meet client expectations and standards.
- Organize and safely store all sample-related documentation.
- Take full ownership of sample timelines and quality checks before submission to the warehouse, reporting directly to the Production Support Manager.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by management as needed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Applied or Industrial Arts, or a related field.
- Skilled in design software: SolidWorks, CorelDRAW, 3D Max, AutoCAD.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in design or technical roles.
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
