Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Delivery
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems and applications to support evolving business needs and product objectives.
- Take ownership of feature implementation, issue resolution, and technical delivery while ensuring projects are completed within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, and distributed engineering teams across Vietnam and Germany to deliver high-impact solutions.
Backend Engineering
- Build scalable backend services and APIs using modern TypeScript frameworks, following Agile Scrum practices.
- Continuously improve system architecture through refactoring and optimization as requirements evolve.
- Develop robust software solutions with a strong emphasis on automated testing, code quality, and maintainability.
- Produce clean, efficient, and reusable code that follows engineering best practices.
Technical Excellence & Collaboration
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and problem-solving initiatives.
- Actively communicate progress, requirements, risks, and technical challenges with team members and stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge through mentoring, technical presentations, and collaborative learning sessions.
Requirements
Technical Expertise
- 4+ years of hands-on backend development experience using TypeScript, particularly with frameworks such as Express.js or Fastify.
- Experience with Next.js and React.js is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of software testing practices, including unit testing with frameworks such as Jest.
- Experience using data validation libraries such as Zod, io-ts, or similar to ensure application reliability and data integrity.
- Solid experience working with relational databases, ORMs, and writing optimized SQL queries when required.
- Familiarity with API design and documentation standards, including OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Strong understanding of Dependency Injection principles and scalable application architecture.
- Experience implementing structured logging and monitoring solutions, preferably using JSON-based logging standards.
- Hands-on experience with caching technologies such as Redis or similar distributed caching platforms.
