Key Responsibilities
Franchisee Development & Qualification
- Execute franchise development strategies in Japan to achieve store expansion targets.
- Identify and develop potential franchisees and business leads.
- Screen prospective franchisees based on business background, financial strength, operational capability, and business fit.
- Conduct initial due diligence and assess franchisee suitability.
Site Selection & Evaluation
- Evaluate potential locations based on customer traffic, catchment area, rental costs, surrounding businesses, and commercial potential.
- Assess licensing, permits, and regulatory requirements for new locations.
- Prepare site evaluation reports and recommendations for management approval.
- Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the site selection process.
Franchise Development
- Manage the end-to-end franchise process, from initial contact to contract signing and store opening.
- Communicate franchise requirements, policies, commercial terms, and development procedures.
- Coordinate franchise agreements, licenses, permits, and pre-opening activities.
- Handover newly established stores to the Regional Operations team.
Pipeline & Database Management
- Maintain databases of franchisees, prospects, and potential locations.
- Track franchisee progress from lead generation to store opening.
- Prepare regular pipeline and performance reports for Japan management.
Market & Real Estate Development
- Develop relationships with commercial property owners, shopping malls, and retail channels across Japan.
- Monitor competitor expansion and restaurant market trends.
- Provide market insights to support franchise expansion strategies.
Agreement & Compliance Management
- Follow up on franchise agreements, fees, and related procedures.
- Coordinate with Legal, Administration, and other teams to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Identify and address compliance risks throughout franchise development and store opening.
- Requirements: Fluent in Mandarin + Japanese or English + Japanese
