Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives and OGSM framework.
- Develop and manage factory budgets, operating expenses, and resource allocation.
- Drive operational efficiency and optimize the utilization of manpower, utilities, spare parts, equipment, and investments.
- Oversee quality management systems and approve NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations and achievement of business targets.
- Evaluate and recommend investments in technology, equipment, systems, and facilities to enhance production capacity.
- Lead, coach, and develop management and technical teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Implement and monitor KPI performance management systems aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and asset management regulations.
- Develop and execute plant security, safety, and risk management strategies.
- Safeguard production systems, warehouses, facilities, and operational assets.
- Build workforce development plans and training programs for supervisors and machine operators.
- Provide timely direction and supervision to ensure employees comply with operational, safety, and quality standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role managing 200+ employees within food or beverage manufacturing.
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in developing and executing OGSM frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in multinational and multicultural environments is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, quality management systems, food safety & security, and ERP/SAP systems.
