KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advanced Data Solution Development
- Architect, develop, and validate state of the art ML and DL models aligned with defined business KPIs.
- Build sophisticated analytics products such as recommendation systems, personalization engines, and AI-powered decision models.
- Promote the adoption of Machine Learning and Big Data methodologies across multiple customer journeys and cross-functional squads.
- Ensure Data Science initiatives are executed in an agile, compliant, and outcome-focused manner.
Insight Generation and Model Excellence
- Extract actionable insights from large-scale, complex datasets in close collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Implement frameworks for continuous model monitoring, validation, and performance optimization.
- Lead cross-squad knowledge sharing to identify new Data Science opportunities.
- Work alongside Data Engineering teams to design scalable and production-ready algorithms.
- Maintain deep familiarity with dataset characteristics, including distribution patterns, anomalies, and performance indicators, to safeguard model reliability and business relevance.
Project Ownership and Delivery
- Drive end-to-end ownership of advanced analytics projects from ideation to deployment.
- Manage competing priorities and evolving requirements while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Address execution challenges, resolve bottlenecks, and continuously refine processes to enhance project outcomes.
Leadership and Talent Development
- Lead and develop a team of Data Scientists, cultivating technical mastery and long-term career growth.
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members to become independent, high-impact contributors.
- Foster a culture centered on innovation, experimentation, and scientific rigor.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
-
Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Analysis, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related analytical disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of hands on experience in data analytics, large scale ML and DL model development, and advanced statistical modeling.
- Strong programming expertise in Python, R, Spark, Scala, SQL, Java, or C/C++ with solid database querying capabilities.
- Proven experience building scalable data driven products and advanced analytical frameworks.
- Demonstrated application of AI and Machine Learning in financial services or other complex, high impact industries.
- Strong ability to translate business challenges into analytical solutions and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Solid experience working within Agile and Scrum environments, managing complex Data Science initiatives.
- Established leadership capability in mentoring, team building, and driving technical excellence.
- English proficiency in line with corporate standards.
