Job Description
The Cross-Domain Computing team is currently seeking experienced Software Project Managers (SW PCM) to support In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) development projects in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The team specializes in building advanced Linux and Android-based platforms for automotive head units and smart devices. Working in collaboration with global engineering teams, you will contribute to cutting-edge solutions in navigation systems, vehicle functionalities, autonomous driving features, and IoT applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface with clients and stakeholders, taking ownership of the software scope from initial acquisition to final delivery
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets
- Analyze and clarify customer requirements, working closely with development teams to document specifications
- Coordinate development tasks, assign work to engineers, and monitor progress
- Lead and mentor project team members, providing feedback and support when needed
- Proactively identify and resolve issues during the development lifecycle to ensure milestone and quality objectives are achieved
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field such as Automotive, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics
- Minimum 8 years of experience in embedded software development
- Strong background in project and risk management
- Solid understanding of microcontrollers and microprocessors
- Familiarity with the V-model development process
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese
- Strong leadership skills and collaborative mindset
Preferred:
- Experience in the automotive domain, including knowledge of in-vehicle communication, vehicle dynamics, or functional safety standards
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
