District Sales Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the sales team in achieving sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies to enhance market share and profitability.
    • Drive sales objectives through annual forecasting and quota planning to support business growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to transform organizational vision into effective commercial strategies aligned with local market dynamics.
    • Support territory sales planning and resource allocation, including manpower planning.
    • Manage KOL relationships, develop tender strategies and action plans, and oversee tender participation to secure successful tender outcomes and achieve tender quotas.
    • Partner with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing events, promotional campaigns, distributor programs, and HCP engagement activities in line with franchise strategies.
    • Oversee forecasting and inventory management to ensure operational efficiency and product availability.
    • Manage market intelligence activities and monitor competitor and industry developments.
    • Deliver timely reports to management on market trends, customer insights, sales performance, competitive activities, and product movements.
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts, distributors, KOLs, and other stakeholders while expanding advocacy for company products.
    • Conduct regular field visits to understand customer needs and market dynamics, and share insights during business reviews.
    • Support ongoing performance analysis against KPIs by evaluating product performance, market trends, promotional effectiveness, and competitive activities, while identifying improvement opportunities and providing coaching to enhance team capabilities.
    • Optimize sales team structure and territory alignment to maximize business opportunities and sales performance.
    • Hiring and develop the sales team to strengthen customer engagement and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • University graduate in Medicine or Pharmacy.
    • Experience in sales management and people management
    • Adaptable to the evolving dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry, including policy and digital transformation changes.
    • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across diverse business environments.
    • Proven capability to foster a winning team culture and develop talent.
    • Skilled in setting clear KPIs and implementing effective performance tracking mechanisms.
    • Demonstrated experience and strong track record in building strategic partnerships with key pharmacies and pharmacy chains is an advantage.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly results-driven.
    • Strong team player with solid leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficient in both written and spoken English communication.
