Distribution Sales Manager

    Job Responsibility

    1. Develop and execute distribution channel sales strategy

    • Build and implement sales plans for volume, revenue, market share by region and product category.
    • Propose sales policies, discounts, incentives, and distribution support programs aligned with company direction.
    • Set targets, KPIs, and coordination processes across relevant departments.

    2. Manage and grow the distribution network

    • Develop and expand the distribution network and point-of-sale coverage.
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing distributions; monitor purchasing trends, credit status, and engagement levels.
    • Supervise distribution sales activities in accordance with company policies; evaluate distribution performance and provide necessary support.

    3. Lead and supervise the distribution sales team

    • Assign targets and territories to sales staff responsible for distribution management.
    • Oversee sales activities, distribution care, and market intelligence collection.
    • Train the team on products, sales skills, and standard operating procedures. 

    4. Market & competitor analysis

    • Collect market data and track competitor sales performance.
    • Recommend adjustments to sales policies or promotion programs when needed.
    • Deploy, manage, and supervise activities of regional market staff.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Trade, or related fields.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Director/Head of Sales roles; preferably in Electrical Equipment, Plastics Manufacturing, Paint/Coating
    • English proficiency.
    • Strong expertise in sales management, market development strategy, and execution.
    • Excellent analytical and strategic planning capabilities at the divisional level.
    • Strong understanding of business processes, performance management, and resource optimization.
    • Proficient in data analysis and evaluating commercial effectiveness.
    • Strong planning, supervision, and cross-functional coordination skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
    • Inspirational leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and effective problem-solving.
    • Ability to manage resources, work with cross-functional teams, and lead organizational change.
    • Systematic thinking, proactiveness, and strong pressure-handling ability.
    • Strategic mindset with strong operational control across the division.
    • Proven capability in planning and managing departmental objectives aligned with company direction.
    • Strong training, coaching, and team development skills, with the ability to build a positive and collaborative organizational culture.
