What You'll Do
- Define and drive the long term R&D strategy for humanoid robotics development
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary Hardware, Mechatronics, Software, and AI engineering teams
- Advance innovation in locomotion, manipulation, autonomy, and intelligent robotic systems
- Oversee the development of end to end robot control architecture, from state estimation and planning to whole body control and AI driven behaviors
- Foster collaboration across hardware, firmware, controls, and AI functions to accelerate product development
- Establish technical vision, engineering standards, and scalable development processes across the organization
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in advanced robotics or legged robots, including 2+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of leading cross functional engineering teams
- Strong expertise in robotics software architecture, AI models, and intelligent control systems
- Hands on experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, large behavior models, or vision language action models
- Experience with real time robotics systems, ROS/ROS2, and robotic middleware
- Knowledge of model based control methods such as MPC, Optimal Control, or LQR is an advantage
- Deep understanding of the full humanoid robotics stack, including hardware, sensors, controls, planning, AI, and data infrastructure
