Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and lead the long term IT and Quality Management strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives and client expectations across global markets.
- Provide strategic leadership to IT and QA/QMS teams across multiple locations, including Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hue, and Hanoi.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align technology, compliance, and operational initiatives with broader business goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Technology & IT Operations
- Lead the overall management of enterprise IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and service delivery for a multi location organisation of over 450 employees.
- Oversee technology procurement, vendor partnerships, and investment planning to deliver scalable and cost efficient solutions.
- Ensure technology platforms meet the security, reliability, and performance standards required by both regulated and non regulated international clients.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support future business expansion.
Quality, Compliance & Governance
- Own and manage the organisation's ISO certification and compliance programs, including audits, recertification activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across relevant standards.
- Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems function, ensuring adherence to internal policies and client contractual obligations.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls covering both IT operations and quality management.
- Serve as the key liaison for external auditors, certification bodies, and client compliance stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable information security, data protection, and regulatory requirements across international markets.
Client Engagement & Business Development Support
- Partner with commercial teams to support client acquisition and retention efforts by providing technical, security, and compliance expertise.
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospective and existing clients, demonstrating the organisation's technology capabilities, security standards, and quality frameworks.
- Lead responses to technical assessments, due diligence requests, RFIs, and RFPs, ensuring high quality and compelling submissions.
- Provide consultative guidance on security, compliance, governance, and technology integration requirements.
- Build strong relationships with client technical, procurement, and executive stakeholders to support business growth and long term partnerships.
Financial & Resource Management
- Develop and oversee annual IT and Quality budgets, ensuring effective resource utilisation and measurable return on investment.
- Monitor budget performance, forecasting, and cost optimisation initiatives while providing regular reporting to executive leadership.
- Review and approve capital investment proposals related to technology infrastructure and quality management systems.
Requirements
Professional Experience
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in IT leadership, quality management, compliance, or related disciplines, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success leading technology and quality functions within technology services, outsourcing, shared services, or BPO organisations.
- Proven experience managing geographically dispersed teams and supporting operations across multiple regions and time zones.
- Experience serving clients across Europe, Scandinavia, North America, Southeast Asia, and ANZ markets is highly desirable.
- Strong background in client facing technical consulting, pre sales support, or advisory engagements is an advantage.
Technical & Compliance Expertise
- Extensive knowledge of ISO standards, compliance frameworks, certification processes, audit management, and corrective action programs.
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT service management, and large scale technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of information security, data governance, and regulatory requirements relevant to international service delivery organisations.
- Experience implementing and managing Quality Management Systems and quality assurance frameworks.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical or compliance matters to both technical and non technical audiences.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high performing teams while driving organisational change.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into actionable plans.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to engage international stakeholders at all levels.
- Vietnamese language capability is beneficial but not essential.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills, including experience engaging executive leadership, board members, clients, and external partners.
- Commercially astute, highly credible, and confident representing the organisation in client and industry settings.
