Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and optimize business and marketing strategies for industrial metal products to achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion targets;
- Monitor and analyze global metal market trends, including pricing, supply and demand movements, and industry developments, in order to provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership;
- Lead and oversee all commercial activities, establish KPIs for the sales organization, and ensure business targets are consistently achieved or exceeded;
- Design and implement sales strategies to expand market share, strengthen strategic customer relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth;
- Supervise operational activities related to commercial performance and recommend resource allocation plans to maximize efficiency and productivity;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and strategic partners to support long term business objectives;
- Identify new market opportunities, conduct competitor analysis, and propose go to market strategies for new products and business segments;
- Collaborate closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure stable product availability and optimized inventory management;
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high performing commercial teams with a strong performance driven culture;
- Represent the company in major negotiations, partnership discussions, and high value commercial agreements while enhancing the organization’s reputation within the industrial metals sector;
- Standardize and improve commercial processes, including sales operations, customer service, and complaint handling procedures;
- Perform other strategic assignments delegated by executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, International Trade, Business Administration, Commerce, or related disciplines;
- Fluent English communication skills are mandatory;
- Strong understanding of industrial metals trading and supply sourcing strategies;
- 10–15 years of B2B commercial experience, preferably within industrial metals trading such as steel, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, or related materials;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role with similar responsibilities;
- Strong strategic thinking and decision making capabilities;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
- Proven leadership and team management experience;
- Good understanding of financial management, legal frameworks, and regulations related to commercial operations.
