Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety Leadership
- Promote a culture of safety by ensuring all team members are trained and comply with safety protocols and incident reporting standards.
- Serve as a safety role model for both staff and clients.
2. Business Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute annual strategic plans focusing on sales growth, profitability, operational costs, and capital expenditures.
- Lead performance analysis and guide the team in meeting business goals tailored to the country and specific customers.
- Track and communicate business outcomes, new growth areas, and necessary actions.
- Implement corporate programs and initiatives locally.
- Monitor market trends and assess their business impact.
3. Client Management & Value Delivery
- Define and lead service strategies throughout the country.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve profit targets.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to improve sales performance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Take the lead on sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key clients.
- Support field teams in business reviews and showcase the value of the company's solutions (e.g., training, ES&S).
4. Team Development & Leadership
- Recruit, manage, and grow a high-performing team to meet sales and business targets.
- Foster a collaborative, high-engagement work environment.
- Make informed decisions on staffing and projects to enhance team capabilities and output.
- Identify succession plans and professional growth paths for critical roles.
5. New Business Development
- Drive new client acquisition through strategic prospecting, industry connections, and collaboration with internal sales/support functions.
- Oversee proposals, product trials, contract discussions, and closing processes alongside field and corporate teams.
- Maintain and act on a clear national prospecting pipeline.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience, including both field and corporate exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related discipline).
- Strong track record in leading complex sales teams and achieving business results in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficient in English and the local language.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
