Key Responsibilities
Market Entry & Business Development
- Lead the market entry strategy and establish local operations from the ground up.
- Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to drive market expansion.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Develop and execute go to market strategies while adapting the company’s products and services to local market requirements.
P&L Ownership & Merchant Engagement
- Take full ownership of the local P&L, including revenue growth, cost management, and overall profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, government agencies, and key industry stakeholders.
- Ensure an outstanding merchant experience by tailoring solutions and services to local market needs.
Team Building & Leadership
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high performing local team aligned with the company’s culture and strategic goals.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and continuous mentorship to support team growth and performance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We would love to hear from you if:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 8+ years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles, preferably within POS or payment related industries.
- Proven ability to build and scale operations in new markets is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with hands on experience managing P&L responsibilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands on approach and resilience in fast paced environments.
- Highly driven, motivated, and committed to achieving business success.
