Continuous Improvement Director

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute the factory’s 3 year business strategy, annual operating plans, and CAPEX budget initiatives aligned with organizational goals
    • Establish and continuously improve policies, SOPs, workflows, and operational standards to enhance factory performance and efficiency
    • Partner closely with production teams to conduct work study analysis, identify productivity gaps, and implement immediate operational improvements across both production and non production functions
    • Drive performance management through regular KPI reviews, budget tracking, and visual management practices to ensure operational targets are achieved
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, DMAIC, 5S, layout optimization, and lead time reduction methodologies
    • Promote best practice sharing and operational excellence culture across the factory and wider business division
    • Support implementation of production system initiatives, including employee training, certification, and audit activities
    • Identify and lead automation opportunities through the adoption of advanced machinery, equipment, and process improvements to increase productivity and operational efficiency
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence throughout the organization
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to team members while fostering collaboration and alignment with broader business objectives

    Key Requirements & Qualifications

    • 15 to 20 years of experience within garment manufacturing or related industries, ideally in organizations with strong operational excellence frameworks
    • Extensive hands on expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, DMAIC, and other continuous improvement methodologies
    • Strong strategic planning, execution, KPI management, and operational problem solving capabilities
    • Solid background in Industrial Engineering or related disciplines, with proven experience in work study, process analysis, and operational optimization
    • Demonstrated experience in evaluating and implementing automation solutions within manufacturing environments
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams across all organizational levels
    • Proven leadership capability with experience developing teams and strengthening departmental performance
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
