Roles & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all Technology evaluation, Technology adoption / migration from Pilot scale to GW scale Manufacturing line
- Preparation of Short- and Long-term Technology and Product Road Map by Understanding of Technology Market dynamics and Challenges of Implementation.
- New Product development and Control as per Market requirement through DFMEA, Process FMEA and Cost Competitiveness
- Engineering Control Note (ECN) of any new Product/Process Implementation in Volume Manufacturing line
- Establishment of new Long term reliability test protocol for New/Existing Products and Benchmarking with Industries/Market
- Reliability/ R&D lab control/Management and Product Certification and Compliance to IEC requirement
- Benchmarking of Process and Production Performance metrics and defining & Contracting with OEM
- Close coordination with OEM for preparation of SOP's and Raw material Specification for Volume Ramp up
- Identification and Selection of suitable machineries and tools from established OEM's (Supplier) for GW scale
- Capacity balancing of Production line and Reliable tool selection towards lowest Project Investment Cost/Wp
- Support to Project & functional heads for expansion projects by providing technical insights and Facility-Utility Matrix (FUM) to design facility plant design.
- Driving cohesion for strategic plans through technology integration to enhance operational efficiency & remain cost competitive
- Plan and direct activities to achieve agreed Manufacturing targets and standards of Financial Performance, Quality, Culture and Legal Compliances.
- Ensuring business sustainability & Continuity by creating risk mitigation / contingency plans for what if scenarios
- Lead and Built a team of Best-in-class resources in the industry and create a pool of successors for the future expansions through continuous coaching & mentoring.
- Setting up R & D targets on new and cutting-edge technology and materials development towards continuous improvement and cost reduction in manufacturing line.
- Establish Interaction and collaborative research work with Leading Industries and Academic institutions in India and Overseas to sharpen in-house expertise.
Specification:
- Experience: Minimum 18-20 Years of experience in Solar Value Chain at least from Ingot-Wafer-Cell-Module
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D
- Must have worked extensively in Solar Industry Technology Space
- Must be an Indian
Note: The position is based out of Ahmedabad and the candidate has to be based at Ahmedabad. No concept of any remote working or hybrid working is applicable for this position.
