Role Overview
The COO will lead and oversee end-to-end business operations, ensuring that the company delivers high-performance, secure, and scalable solutions while achieving its strategic goals. The ideal candidate has deep experience in product-led tech startups, preferably in cybersecurity, communication tools, or privacy tech, and excels at building operational frameworks for scale, agility, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operations across product delivery, support, compliance, HR, finance, and infrastructure.
- Translate strategic vision into scalable execution plans that align with mission and business goals.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across tech, business, and customer functions.
- Ensure data security, privacy compliance, and operational resilience across all touchpoints.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track business performance and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the CEO on fundraising, strategic partnerships, and global expansion.
- Establish robust vendor and partner networks to support scaling infrastructure.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role at a tech company.
- Proven success in leading operations for distributed or cross-border teams of 100+ employees.
- Strong track record in scaling operations in SaaS, VPN, messaging, or cybersecurity environments.
- Experience in scaling operations in fast-paced, product-led organizations.
- Strong leadership, team development, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Deep understanding of business operations, compliance, data security, and distributed teams.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
- Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
