Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the Compliance strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Provide independent oversight of compliance risks across the organization.
- Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Compliance team.
Compliance Transformation
- Drive digitalization and modernization of Compliance operations.
- Leverage technology, data analytics, and process improvements to strengthen effectiveness.
- Support regional and global Compliance transformation initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee compliance frameworks, policies, and governance programs.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impact.
- Lead regulatory examinations, engagements, and communications.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted Compliance advisor to senior management and business leaders.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulators, including the Ministry of Finance.
- Collaborate with regional Compliance teams to align with global standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above with 12+ years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, or Risk Management within financial services.
- Strong leadership experience in insurance, banking, or financial services.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, conduct, fraud, financial crime, privacy, and governance.
- Proven experience engaging regulators and advising senior executives.
- Track record in Compliance transformation and framework enhancement.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
