Core Responsibilities:
- Lead a direct and indirect team of sales and marketing, spanning various functions and seniority levels.
- May involve matrix management and responsibility for second-line leadership development.
- Lead the sales and marketing efforts to achieve financial targets and P&L performance for the Business Unit.
- Shape porfolio strategy based on scientific data and market insights to accelerate brand performance.
- Manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic business environment.
- Promote collaboration across departments to ensure efficient inventory planning and support the development of diagnostic infrastructure.
- Align field force structure and resource allocation with strategic business objectives and performance goals.
- Coach, mentor, and elevate team members through robust performance frameworks and talent development plans.
- Identify and develop high-potential individuals to build a strong pipeline for future commercial leadership.
- Steer strategic, cross-functional initiatives that align with long-term organizational priorities.
- Champion ethical practices and maintain compliance with corporate governance and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated success in sales with a strong commercial track record.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in sales or marketing.
- Proven experience managing teams and working across departments.
- Strong capabilities in communication, budgeting, negotiations, and presentations.
Preferred:
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Exposure to various functions (e.g., brand management, training, commercial operations).
- Experience in regional or global assignments is a plus.
