Business Development Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Build and expand partnerships with brands, manufacturers, and merchandise partners, selecting the right product categories to enhance overall business value in line with customer and market needs.

    • Support merchandise partners throughout onboarding and growth, providing guidance on market positioning, product roadmap, branding, and operational strategies.

    • Develop creative proposals based on category performance and lead project execution through resource coordination and merchant enablement.

    • Produce industry analysis reports, uncover customer insights through data, and refine strategies based on evolving market trends.

    Qualifications

    • At least 8 years of experience in operations, such as brand management, category operations, or platform management.

    • Strong network and relationships with local sellers and vendors are an advantage.

    • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret industry trends, manage projects through data insights, and form clear recommendations.

    • Demonstrated capability in market development and marketing innovation, with experience guiding end-to-end merchant marketing plans.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities, self-driven, strategic thinker, and adaptable in fast-changing environments.

    • Able to perform under pressure and manage workload efficiently during peak periods.

    Language Requirement: Chinese + local language or English + local language
