Business Development Manager

    Job description

    • Build close in-person relationships with current customers
    • Collect customer information and carry out market research
    • Look for potential customers
    • Represent the organization and its products to customers; 
    • Overcome any objections in order to persuade the customer to buy;
    • Communicate with customers to check on the status of existing orders;
    • Review personal sales performance in order to meet or exceed targets;
    • Understand customers' businesses and requirements thoroughly
    • Conduct accurate and timely cost calculations to provide quotations to customers;
    • Prepare sales proposals and quotations to customers;
    • Write sales reports on a weekly basis
    • Other tasks relevant to sales and marketing functions.
    • Manage and coach the sales team when required
    • Create an annual strategic and action plan to achieve targets.

    Job requirement

    • Male/Female from 32 – 45 years old 
    • A Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or related industry
    • Strong sales and interpersonal skills with a service mindset
    • Enthusiastic, ready to take initiative, and can work well on their own and under pressure.
    • Fluent in English 
    • Ability to speak Japanese is an advantage
    • Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
    • Great presentation and leadership skills
    • Can work overtime when required
    • Results-driven.
    • Candidates who can use their private car in daily job are preferred (The company will pay for fuels, road tickets and maintenance expenses).
